Celebrate, Collaborate Workshop

Last Saturday, a workshop entitled, "Celebrate, Collaborate" was held at The Marin School. The workshop was the culminating activity with LEAP School students from South Africa and with students/educators from TMS, Lick-Wilmerding, Redwood, Branson, Drew, and Ralph A. Bunche Academy. Led by English teacher Jonah Weaver and representatives from non-profit Teach With Africa, the workshop focused on issues of race and equality among schools from differing backgrounds. The workshop concluded with a "Call to Action" where students discussed ways to bring awareness about these issues to the school community.
