Award-winning architect and clothing designer, Eugene Tsui, will present his revolutionary ideas about how to rebuild and reorganize our world by bringing the laws of nature into harmony with the newest human inventions. Eugene's pioneering theory of biomimetics combines nature's simplest designs with the newest technologies to show how our most basic needs - housing, clothing and food - can be provided globally in ways that are elegant, equitable and enjoyable. We'll screen a short documentary about Eugene's work, followed by a showing of his spectacular, eco-friendly fashion designs, than a conversation and Q & A. Eugene holds professional degrees in architecture, city and regional planning, and education. He works and teaches in the US and China, and lectures around the world.
